A New Year - A New Start
I had every intention of starting 2015 in blogging mode and blog at least once a month! As you can see this just has not happened, not because I haven't tried but because my iPad does not like blogging!!
I've fired up the old PC and am trying out a new post - so here goes...
I did actually enter Lavinia's Challenge No 1 (another reason for blogging - I was going to enter my art work into as many competitions as possible) so set off quite well - I didn't win but you must have a look at the website, there are so many fabulous stamps and some gorgeous projects and art work.
Here is the artwork I entered...
Here goes let's see whether this will actually post...... I do hope so xx

Harrogate Paper Crafts Show
He's photos of the goodies I bought at Harrogate. Once again some fabulous displays and demonstrations, well worth the visit and this time accompanied by my good friends Linda and Julia. One lovely day out! Watch this space to see what I do with them

Must try harder!
I have actually had time over the last few days to sit and relax and ponder over the favourite things that happen in my life and one of my favourites is crafting. I then took a look at my blog that I haven't visited in a while and was surprised to see how long it was since I had posted anything. Why! I can't answer that question and cannot for the life of me figure out why I haven't. That's the reason for the title SO I am going to upload some of the photographs I have taken that are just sat in my phone and start sharing them once again.
I really hope all you bloggers out there have had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to checking in on you all again. I shall make it a priority!

Apologies!!
Sincere apologies to any of my Sisterhood 16 who have been checking out my blog for some sort of action! Lots of excuses, including computer crash and losing all my e-mails and contacts plus holidays and general clearing out ready for house extension, which is now well in progress. I'm afraid crafting had to stop and have to say I have really missed being in touch with my crafting buddies. Anyway that's all of my excuses out of the way and I'm off now to visit my Sisterhood's blogs to see what they have all been up to.

Papercraft Weekly Challenge - Katharina's Sketch #2
Here's my entry for the Papertake Weekly Challenge - although I don't think my card is quite what the sketch asked for!
The stamp is by Great Impressions - I used prismacolor pencils and sansador to blend. The card is bazzil bling (cuttlebug embossed with swiss dots) and the papers are Hot Off The Press. The flower is Daisy Box Blends and the pearl brad is from Poppycraft.

Charlotte's Card
Here's a card I've been working on for my Nephew's little girl -I thought they might like to make a door plaque out of it after her birthday! I've had lots of new goodies lately - Circus alphabet set (which I've used for the name, coloured with cat's eyes, then I've glittered and used glossy accents) and a set of Prismacolor pencils (which I've used on the Tilda image and blended with Sansador) and some new Cuttlebug embossing folders (which I've used for the backgrounds).

A Big Hello To All My New Sisters!
As I'm now a member of the Sisterhood 16 of the Blogging Stampers I thought I'd post a note to say a big hello to all of my new sisters. There are some very talented crafters out there and I love to go visiting. The only downside is that you get carried away and finish up viewing instead of actually crafting!
To share a little about me to my group - I'm a 50 something, working mum with a teenage son. I love anything and everything to do with crafts. I think I've done them all! My main hobby now is card making which I make time for whenever I can. My crafting buddy Karen (a fellow sister) and I usually craft on a Wednesday evening at my home straight from work.
I'm really looking forward to visiting all your fab blogs and getting to know you all a lot better.
Happy Crafting!

Arte Y Pico Award!
Karen has given me the Arte Y Pico Award. I am so thrilled. Thank you so much Karen for choosing me from all the other fab blogs that are out there.
Here's how it happens: There are 5 rules and they are as follows- 1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language. 2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone. 3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself. 4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award. 5) To show these rules.

My Paper World #7
This card was made using my new penny black stamp 'Rosy!'. The image was coloured using Karisma pencils using sansador and paper stumps to blend. The floural paper is Laura Ashley, the green is craftwork cards paper embossed with the 'Cuttlebug', flowers are Prima and Daisy Box.
This is my first card entry for Nicola's 'My Paper World' challenge.
